Visas Processing

To enter United Arab Emirates a visa is required for all nationalities. There are different kind of visa that are issued and they depend on different factors as nationality, the purpose of visit and its duration. GCC nationals are allowed to visit and work in United Arab Emirates without further formalities. Citizens of 33 countries do not require visas prior to arrival only when on a visit status.

Every company licensed by the Department of Economic Development in each Emirate has to be registered with the Ministry of Labour and Department of Immigration and receive company labour and immigration card. Without these cards your company will not be able to sponsor (or legally employ) staff.

Investor Visa

This type of permit is for company owners that start their own business or invest in an existing one. This visa is issued when some pre-requisites are meet.

Employment Visa

Working in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates is not allowed if the person does not have an employment visa status that can be obtained when hired by private companies or Government companies. The duration of the permit depends on the jurisdiction of the Government Authority issuing it. As requisites for the issuing of residency permit the person should have its passport with a validity of more than six months and pass a medical test successfully.

Family Visa & Visit Visa

Residents of United Arab Emirates can “sponsor” their family for a residency or a visit visa depending on their job designation, monthly salary and specific rules. Is possible to apply under “Family Sponsorship” for your wife and children(s) but for parents or relatives further requirements need to be met. Otherwise is advisable to apply for a visit visa that can be issue for a period of maximum 90 days.

An investor or an employment visa is required for opening a bank account or applying for loans, rent an apartment and connect utilities as electricity, water and internet/phone line.
